Avelumab treatment did not show unexpected cross-toxicity with chemotherapy when studied in phase I / II in patients with different tumor types. So the combination at full doses of GC and avelumab seems appropriate.

During this follow-up period, patients will have disease and safety assessments performed every 3 months. Patients will remain in follow-up for up to 1 year from last dose of treatment and will have survival follow-up.

Thank you for participating in our application process and for your interest in the MaCS Program. This year we had approximately 700 applicants for the 90 spots. The Selection Committee is still reviewing each application package. Notification letters will be mailed by Canada Post the week of February 8th to all applicants. Due to the large number of applicants we will be unable to provide feedback on any part of the application.
Successful applicants who receive an offer will also receive a course selection sheet with instructions on how to confirm your spot. Please read and follow the instructions in the notification letter.
A small group of students will be notified on their letter that they have been placed on a waiting list. If a spot becomes available, a student on the wait list will be notified, between Thursday February 18th– Friday February 26th. Students on the waitlist who are not notified can re-apply next year for grade 10 entry.
Students who do not receive an offer for the MaCS program as we are unable to provide a space for all applicants, can re-apply next year for grade 10 entry.

The MaCS Program at W.L. Mackenzie C.I. operates under the authority of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). MaCS is required to follow all TDSB policies and procedures for a specialized program within the TDSB.
The TDSB in the fall of 2019 updated its attendance policy for all specialized programs including MaCS for grade 8 applicants:
Uninstall skype 7.59 for mac free. “Grade 8 students who are applying to a specialized program and receive an offer and choose to accept the offer must be a resident of the City of Toronto.”
Note: Grade 8 students who receive and accept an offer but do not attend a TDSB school will be required to provide documentation for proof of residence in the City of Toronto.
Note: Grade 8 students who attend a school outside the City of Toronto but are a resident of the City of Toronto are also eligible to apply.
Note: If a grade 8 student applies and resides outside the City of Toronto at the time of application and receives an offer and chooses to accept the offer, must become a resident of the City of Toronto at the time of registration in order for the offer to remain valid.

Please bring a pencil, a pen, a calculator, an eraser, and your completed application package and application fee on Friday November TBD.
Application Deadline 2021:
Registration closed on Monday November TBD at 11:59 pm. The application package and fee are submitted on the day of the entrance test (Friday November TBD). Registered applicants will receive an email on Wednesday November TBD with instructions including arrival time and door entry for the day of the test.
